Hey Bruce! A scratchboard is a one time deal. You can't eras it cuz it's pretty much set. It is technically only a white chalk surface covered in a thin layer of black ink. I prefer to use the term 2 dimensional sculpture. Since you remove the black ink media rather than add it. The white you see is the chalk surface below the ink.

Hey, I like the placement and sheer white on black of this, Tony. Is a scratch board something you cant erase -- maybe like kids often use? Cant make out all the numbers or figure what is signified. Looking again, their just being there helps emphasize the twist, and an illusion that the body leans more than it actually does. And of course, the title's fun.
